Golf Pictures for Beautiful Senior Girls by Flower Mound Photographer Lisa McNiel

Oh my goodness, what a joy Carson Prewitt was to photograph! That hair alone is a Senior Photographer's dream. And she's smart, so smart, Valedictorian smart. She and her mom travelled up to the Dallas area - Denton to be exact - to do her senior pictures. They live in the College Station area, but had seen photos they liked on Pinterest, and decided to give me a visit. I'm so glad they did!

We celebrated her love of reading at an vintage bookstore in the Square. she wore a lacy, cream shift. Her mom kept commenting on how much she loved Denton, how it reminded her of the towns she grew up in and how friendly everyone was.

Even though she's from the College Station area, she plans to go to UT Austin... (Gasp!) (wink)

Aw, man! Who can resist piano key stairs and red white and blue barn wood? That photo of her by the Texas flag was actually a brave act for this super-accomplished girl because she's afraid of heights.

This shade of pink was perfect with her tan and blond curls. She's a showstopper against those purple walls and with the back light.

Eek! One of my favorites. Can you believe those blue eyes?

Wait, maybe this is my favorite at this location. It's too difficult to decide.

Yep, she's also a rock star golfer (like Top Three in the state of Texas) so we had to show that larger-than-life interest in her images.

One more because we did the middle part of her "Model for a Day" three hour session at the golf course.

*Bonus tip - light blue shirts are going to set off blue eyes and white is great to pair it with.

*gets online to find a fabulous hot pink high halter neck dress subconsciously knowing it won't look the same on a middle-aged pale brunette.

I was grateful the sun was in the right spot and we arrived at the right time since there are no do-overs when working with an out-of-town client. If there's something more simultaneously thrilling and peaceful about shooting a beautiful high school senior in a field with backlight showing all that texture, I can't think of it off the top of my head.

I know they're more editorial than portraity, but these are my real favorites. Just. love. them.

Carson wore her mom's beautiful (and expensive) striped Boho dress that perfectly matches the red in the bridge for a classic look.

Flower Mound Highland Village Senior Pictures for Girls by Photographer Lisa McNiel

Mallorie was one of my senior models and although she participated in the "Street Style" styled shoot we did in Denton, her face told no lies in that her favorite was the "Rescue Pets" session we did with the Flower Mound Animal Rescue.

We had a sunny day, as you can see in that wonderful hair light, and although she played soccer for many years and is an athletic trainer, she focused on boxing, which was also a fun visual and added a little bit of a Bad-A attitude to her photos.

Flowers in her hair - she just don't care!

Whether hiding behind a hat or blowing wishes at the camera, Mallorie is expressive. But perhaps never more so than when she's juggling an armful of puppies. This collage encapsulates her session pretty well in that we did Sam Houston State shorts and cowboy boots at the park, Boho and ripped black jeans with buildings, Lady in Red elegance, and wind in her hair by the lake at sunset.

I cannot get enough of that backlight on her swingy dark locks.

Mallorie, I have an event I need to borrow this little red number for, and if I don't, I'll make one up! You look stunning in it!

Ohhh, Sam Houston State, look out! This girl's got fire in her eyes and gloves up!

LOL! Let your mama kiss your cheek! And this is when you get to see where she gets her bone structure, smile and coloring. Miss Jennifer is a beauty!

Flower Mound Senior Pictures with Guitar by Dallas Photographer Lisa McNiel

That guitar is no prop! This guy knows how to play! He has a unique sense of style, a laid-back attitude and dry sense of humor.

Blake is full of life! He is blessed with a gift and passion for playing the guitar. He has an infectious personality and people love being with him. He has always had an adventurous heart and has lots of great stories because of it. I am blessed to be his Mother and I can’t wait to see where his adventure of life take him!

Texas Soccer Girl - Senior Pictures by Photographer Lisa McNiel

Avery is so lively and wacky. I have quite a few outtakes of her making crazy faces and those are the ones you are likely to see on her twitter. She was a blast to photograph though. A tall, strong, soccer player we did an inside out session with the second half of her session being in old town Lewisville. She made a special request for that location and it was so cool!

Avery's favorites songs are Rockstar and I Fall Apart by Post Malone, Planez - Jeremiah, Cigarette Daydreams by Cage the Elephant, Exchange - Bryson Tiller, Pity Party - Melanie Martinez, and Sweet Creatures by Harry Styles.

I always ask my seniors what their favorite personality trait. How do you not love a kid who lists "kindness?" My gosh, I think I teared up when I read it!

Soccer and working at the Moviehouse and Eatery in Flower Mound take up most of her time, but when she isn't studying, practicing, playing and working, she likes to hang out with her friends and boyfriend.

Avery's favorite quote is "Whatever brings you down will eventually make you stronger." - Alex Morgan

Avery has younger brothers who are twins. This is her favorite memory: "When I was little and my brothers were even littler, I was in the kitchen and saw that one of my brothers, Colin, was playing with an already opened olive can. I told my mom that he shouldn't be playing with that cause he could get hurt but my mom said it was fine. I took initiative and went to grab the van from my brother, but of course, he wouldn't give it up. We fought for it until I finally got it out of his grip and the top of the can had closed on my finger causing a huge scar. And that's how I convinced my mom I was right about the can:)"

As a Senior Model, Avery got to do extra shoots! This is from a group session we did that combined activities and prom clothes - How to Take Prom Pictures.
