OU Masters Graduate Heading to California to work for Google - Senior Pictures by Lisa McNIel

Nick is living a movie script, at least that's what it looks like from my barcalounger. He seemed to easily graduate early and with honors in a difficult program (software engineering) at a challenging university (OU... which for Texans means you need to be top 10% of your class to get into without paying an arm and a leg in tuition), and then efficiently land an enviable position at one of the premiere and cool companies of our time - Google. Oh, and if that weren't enough of a run-on sentence, I would have included that he gets to live in sunny California, which is second only to Texas in awesomeness, and he kind of does it with an effortless cool. You can see from the photos, he also inherited those fantastic Sparks genes of flawless skin, gorgeous bone structure, and piercing eyes.

Since these were Masters degree "Senior Pictures" and not high school, we went a different direction. I don't usually include cigars and expensive Scotch in portraits, but come on... this kind of thing requires a celebration!

I can hardly wait to photograph his baby sister next month! If you would like to see the wildly Pinterest-popular posts of his middle sister or younger brother, or their whole family just click the words.

Senior Pictures of Handsome Flower Mound High School Soccer Scholar by Lisa McNiel

Julia Massie was a blast to photograph. Neither one of us wanted to shut up long enough to get the shots, but that talented girl could throw down poses quickly and we both love drama, so we got it all done in spades, and you can click on her Blog to see why her photos have been pinned over 8,000 times.

I should have known Brendan would be handsome and gracious as well. He is as tall as he looks in these pictures, and as likable and personable and as your favorite buddy from high school. He just started his freshman year at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts on a soccer scholarship. He's studying business at this prestigious college, and I'm excited to be a spectator cheering Brendan and his terrific family on in the future!

Senior Pictures for Softball by Texas Photographer Lisa McNIel

Edie Fairchild is delightfully impressive! She's in Oklahoma this year pitching for the Rogers State University softball team after her sports career at Byron Nelson High School in Roanoke, Texas.  As you can see in the pictures, she has the guns you would expect on a pitcher, but she's oh-so feminine and stylish and sassy! I absolutely LOVED her shoot, and one of her photos blew up on a Facebook photography group page.

She had such a variety, from letter jacket, to romper and heels, jeans and cream boho style shirt in a field, to corset and satin skirt by the lake at sunset. We had the Texas flag, her prom dress, a pink parachute for a skirt, and even the wind seemed on cue to blow her hair. I think I'll order this for all my senior portrait sessions.

Best of luck to you and all of yours, Edie!
