Beauty by the Lake in Pink Parachute Dress by Dallas Fort Worth Photographer

Beautiful, precious Callie plays Ultimate Frisbee for the State Champion Mixed Team who missed their senior prom in order to compete. She also gets up ugly-early on weekends to work in the deli at Market Street. She wore a loose knit tan sweater, a cream lacy top, and a darling navy dress with a fitted bodice and flared skirt to show off her fit figure and shapely legs (from running so many miles in Ultimate!) We did an inside out session with a white sofa, a black background, and a sequin background. We went to the lake and I made her spin in that cute skirt, then we finished up with my pink parachute worn as a dress with a pale pink corsett. She is incredibly photogenic and I was so happy she joined her friends to become one of my Senior Models. The last photo of her blowing glitter was from the Prom session that has been super popular on Pinterest.

Even though Callie is  headed to University of Arkansas next year, she got in a photo with a Texas flag!

Soccer and Ultimate Frisbee Stud - Senior Pictures by Flower Mound Marcus Photographer

Is there someone you know that the mention of their name makes you smile? Jonathan Costello is one for me. Then again, I don't have to guard him on the field. First of all, he is one of my son's very best friends and in my mind, one of my adopted nephews. Second, he is just as warm and welcoming as a person could be, emotional intelligence in the high 90s and able to read the temperature of the room and make people feel comfortable. Third, just a crazy good athlete. Natural, passionate, trained soccer and ultimate frisbee player who will absolutely own his acreage when on the field. Cleat him in the face in soccer and he will walk off the field and rub some dirt on it like a beast, like Sasquatch.  There are no derpy action photos of him because he just "don't do derpy."

"Ultiworld" called him a "goal-scoring monster" in referring to the recruiting class for Oklahoma State University and the Marcus seniors going there next year (my son among them.)  I'm going to miss seeing him around our house next year, but all the empty-nesters with babies at OSU plan to "surprise" our kids whenever possible!

This week he won Best Cutter for the 2x Texas State Championship Team as well as the Starting line award.

And one more of J carrying an injured teammate off the field that just looked so dramatic that I had to borrow a background to embellish it.

Fresh and Natural Beauty - Senior Pictures for Denton County

Fresh and natural beauty, Sammie Dean, is a talent in front of the camera so photographing her was a joy! She was a Boho Festival model for me and we also did a Model for A Day session so we have a variety of styles. She wore a darling romper and rope necklace, all black with red hot pumps, a red bandana scarf and red lips with her dog baby, and a gauzy embroidered top with darling ripped jean shorts. We did both country and downtown photos, inside and out. She will give you great ideas for posing, clothes and colors.

She is graduating from Marcus and heading to the University of Arkansas to become a razorback and will, no doubt, find as many friends there as she has in Texas.

Senior Pictures in Grapevine by Flower Mound Photographer Lisa McNiel

Grayson Williams will be an Aggie when he heads to  Texas A&M this Fall. And College Station is getting a great guy, accomplished, but warm and low-key.  He doesn't seem to need to impress anyone even though he has a great high school resume, making Academic All-District, TABC Academic All-State, and THSCA 1st Team Academic All-State, as well as being awarded one of the Senior Scholarships from the Marcus High School Basketball Booster Club.

Oh yeah, and he was prom king.

I'm so glad I got to be a small part of his senior year and a part of something that will remain behind in his Flower Mound home so that some day his grandkids can see how cool grandpa was back in the 2017!

Coppell Beauty Makes Me Smile - Senior pictures by Dallas Fort Worth Photographer

I met Maddie when she tagged along as a fishy when we did her sister's senior photos. It was one of my favorite sessions so the pressure was on to make Maddie's equally special! Unfortunately, Dallas I-35E was not cooperating and they got stuff in traffic behind an accident. We quickly adopted a Plan B and she arrived looking like she just stepped out of the salon with a smile on her face and eager to make it work. Maddie and her mom, Tonna, planned wisely with a variety of picture-perfect outfits that went beautifully with her coloring, figure and would look great hanging in Wall Art in the Berkebile home. She also made sure to wear her Baylor jersey for a few which works great for announcements and albums. I'm not-so-secretly disappointed that she is the last senior I'll be photographing for this sweet, fun, prepared family!
