Pets and Senior Pictures - Senior Models and Rescue Cats and Dogs by Dallas Photographer Lisa McNiel

My senior models are crazy about animals, as am I, and were more than willing to partner with Flower Mound Animal Services for a "Red White and Adopt" photo session pairing my beautiful Marcus, Guyer, and Grapevine Faith high school models with rescue cats and dogs in an all American theme before the 4th of July.

Please know that you can find all kinds of cats and dogs on this pet adoption website. You just fill in your zip code and what kind of animal you're looking for. It scans all of the rescue sites within a certain mileage from your zip code and you can tell it to look for certain breeds, or ages. It won't store your information unless you indicate that you want it to. This is how I found one of my cats. The other one was a stray that needed a warm place to sleep one Winter.

If you're looking for fashion tips on what to wear on your senior photo shoot, these kids know how to bring it!

Laura, above with a kitten on her head, wore a red and white striped with blue and white stars on the pocket, skinny jeans, and silver sandals, but her personality was her biggest accessory! Angelina, (below) wore a cream peasant top, skinny jeans and white sneakers. The cream top made her hair and beautiful warm skin glow. Savannah (below) is always a joy to see and rocked a red tank, rolled up jeans and white keds. The red set off her voluminous blond hair, freckles, and bright blue eyes. Guyer High School's Aryanna choose a blue and white tank, and ripped skinny jeans which looked terrific, but not as awesome as her full senior session in Grapevine (click to see session).

Jay, with his escape-happy white cat, wore a dark blue patterned short sleeve shirt, jeans, and some pretty cool blue-gray lace up shoes. Beautiful Claire, with her calico cat and racing lab mix, looked lovely in a swingy red tank, jeans, and black strappy sandals. Andrew played with a gray tabby cat and his twin red golden retriever mix in white jeans, rolled at the ankle,  a medium blue knit polo with a palm leaf pattern, and boat shoes.

Cameryn, who has great style, wore a top knot, faded and ripped overalls over a red and white striped short sleeved T shirt, and red keds while cuddling an arm full of puppies. Mallorie wore a red tank, ripped jeans, and white sneakers while being overwhelmed by furry warmth and affection. Avery has a fashion blog, so she carefully planned out her red and white gingham checked tie-front top, jeans, and gold and brown leather sandals.

The dogs wore their own beautiful fur, a red and white chevron infinity scarf, and a stars and stripes top hat.

Thankfully, these pets have all been adopted, but there are always more!
