Senior Pictures for a Garland Girl in Highland Village by Dallas Photographer Lisa McNiel

Natalie and her mom and I had a  crazy session that started at a park, and while my weather app read clear skies, we were getting soaked! So we headed over to the Shops of Highland Village so we could duck under awnings and between buildings because they had traveled a way and it was difficult to reschedule. The resulting energy made her session so. much. fun! We ended it with her running barefoot through a fountain in the rain.

Her mom contacted me for Sorority Rush pictures when her daughter's look had changed from when she had senior pictures done and wanted updated photos. Natalie enjoys jamming out to music in her car with her friends. She's a cheerleader for Naaman Forest High School in Garland, and  loves to swim, shop, hang out with family and go on adventures. Her favorite memory is when her peers nominated her for Homecoming Queen, and favorite quote is "Don't take life too seriously, you'll never make it out alive!"

Hebron High School Senior Pictures by Dallas Fort Worth Photographer Lisa McNiel

In her own words, Caroline Coker is pretty casual, she loves being comfortable and the boho look and style. She really likes wearing bright colors (especially when it's warm.) Her favorite songs right now are Russ - "Losing Control" "Titanic," Kkyle - "When Can We," and Blackbear - "4U."

She is a charismatic girl who plays softball for her school, and sports in general, an athlete who enjoys working out, yoga, and being with friends. She's very close to her family of all brothers, and they stay tight by worshipping together in their Catholic faith.

Her favorite memory is going to Playoffs as a freshman at Hebron High School and the experience of playing on Varsity Softball as a freshman. Her favorite quote is "Don't cry that it's over. Smile because it happened!"

Bring Your Guitar and Your Dog for Senior Pictures - by DFW Photographer Lisa McNiel

Coldplay is what Marcus High School Senior, Zach, likes to listens to when he's not playing tennis or guitar, hanging out with friends or his girlfriend, or working on National Honor Society activities. But in his limited free time, he can mostly be found at the gym, the tennis court, or with a guitar in his hands. We included his guitar in his senior pictures and one of those because my favorite, as musicians change when they get their favorite instrument in their hands. We also included his sweet dog, Lily as one of his favorite memories in life is when they got her when they lived in Canada.

Guyer High School Senior Pictures for Girls by Highland Village Photographer Lisa McNiel

Oh my goodness, how can you not love someone like Kaitlyn Carter? Her favortie personality trait is being nice to people and making them smile, and her favorite quote is "In a world where you can be anything, be kind."

Kaitlyn spends most of her after school time working in a boutique, in several school clubs and horseback riding, and for fun she likes to hang out with friends, read, and take her dog to the park.

We did a "Model for a Day" session with Guyer High School's Kaitlyn so she had tons of photos to choose from, in her prom dress, with signs from Texas A and M, a Texas flag, and several of her favorite outfits. These are a few of my many favorites!

Senior Pictures with Pole Vaulting by Flower Mound Photographer Lisa McNiel

Andrew Kajander is a pole vaulter with Marcus High School's competitive Track and Field program, so we incorporated this into his Senior Session as well as his favorite hoodie because his mom wanted a photo of him looking the way he always does before going away to study at Tarleton University.

Senior Pictures that tell Your Story by Dallas Fort Worth Photographer Lisa McNiel

Kendall's favorite memory was the day she got her horse in 7th grade. She did horseback riding for 7 years and will always love being around animals. She had always dreamed of taking her senior pictures with her horse, but they had to have her put down before she did her session. So... Sad.

When I asked her to tell me about herself, she said that the Taylor Swift song, "Mine," was very meaningful to her.

I decided to put these two pieces of info together and ask her if she could print off photos of her horse and some of her favorite memories and we could recreate the Taylor Swift video and incorporate her horse. She was absolutely terrific and did a great job and we both loved the result!

Her favorite quote is "Everything happens for a reason because you can't try to control every aspect of your life or anyone else's. Go with the flow. God has a plan."

She loves to eat healthy and plans to study nutrition and dietetics at TCU this Fall!
