Favorite Fifteen Bridal Portraits of Flower Mound Photographer Lisa McNiel

Lovely Jordan looked gorgeous in every one of her bridal portraits so I could never choose a favorite, but this is the one she choose, so I will go with it! She had an August wedding and we squeezed her pictures in at the last minute so she had to be a good sport in our Texas heat.

Stunning Sydney was freezing at dusk during the outdoor portion of her session as her wedding was in December, but the sun was still shining and the golden hour was perfect this day.

Kelley's background in theatre served her well in the dramatic style of portrait she wanted.

Anna-Marie's playful nature showed off her personality and made her look even taller than she is when she tossed her veil up in the air and caught it.

These steps near Allie's reception venue cried out for a Cinderella moment that her blond hair, ballgown dress, and darling figure accommodated.

Shelby is most easy-going bride I have ever met, and when her gown didn't come through, she quickly found another and they bought the veil on the way to the Bridal session! It was perfect for a backlit beauty.

Lindsey tragically lost her father to cancer the year before her wedding, so we found a way to pay tribute to him with her wearing his cowboy hat and boots at sunset in a few of the portraits.

I normally wouldn't post a picture of my daughter's backside, but my friend convinced me to hang this in the hall next to the stairs she is walking up. I do love the symbolism and that it shows her hair which has been a part of her look since she was a wee little girl.

Meagan's mom, Dawn, gasped when she saw this photo and I agreed with her. Nothing is as timeless as a beautiful face.

Molly had too many beautiful portraits to choose from. Her parents wanted a more traditional one of her smiling at the camera, which was darling, but this one of her looking out the windows of the Old Cotton Mill in McKinney, Texas was dramatic and tells a story.

Victoria... bride on a white horse. No explanation needed.

I just love everything about this one.

Tracey was wed at this beautiful venue in Colleyville. Her faith is important to her and the cross in the background worked out perfectly. Other things I like about this is the framing of the door, the details in her dress, and the back lighting we got by having her little sister crouched down, holding  light behind her.

Two for the price of one! Kristen had some terrific close ups and looking out of a window, but her venue added to the drama of her dress and dreamy veil. These were taken at Ashton Gardens in Denton, Texas.

Ashley's ceremony and reception took place in a fabulously rustic location in downtown Dallas. The photos there were all dramatic and a 10 out of 10 on the cool scale. This was in a little outbuilding.

Ok, so 16 not 15... I couldn't resist throwing in a bride sharing her bottle of coke with a dog whilst sitting in a 1955 white chevy. How often does that happen?
