I love, love, love that Marci told me so much about her son before his Senior Pictures! If you have a son who will need graduation portraits this year, read what she had to say so you can get an idea of what you can tell me about your boy when it's time for his photo session!
Michael is a lot of fun! He is boisterous and has a very outgoing personality. He loves people - he has never met a stranger. Michael has an inner light that shines though and always has a smile. He has a loving and protecting nature. His favorite activities are those that involve other people - in High school he spent all four years doing both football and JROTC. He loved the team aspect of both activities and being part of a team. He can’t wait to do Intramural and Recreational Sports at Sam Houston State University where he will be attending in the fall.
Michael is able to take negative situations and make something from them. For example, he struggled in Football this year and never really found a place for himself. Therefore, he didn’t really play. So, he just created a new goal for himself - driving the mascot Helmet car! Wouldn’t you know, he actually talked the teacher into it, and right after the last play of the last game, he was seen wheeling around in this goofy Helmet car. It was so funny :) He is the only student she has ever allowed to drive the Helmet car.
He's confident and funny, engaging and attentive. His favorite memory is winning the Lewisville Football Association Championship in the 6th grade and he played football throughout high school.

He loved video games, especially playing online with other people. But if he is playing a game by himself, he loves to create virtual teams (any sport) online where he drafts players, designs uniforms etc.
Michael is very creative - he loves photo shop. As stated, he loves urban fashion, sports fashion and his dream job, if not coaching college football, would be designing shoes for Adidas or Nike.
Michael is a pied piper of sorts - younger kids love him - he is such a big kid himself - and I think his true calling will be working with kids in a sports field as a coach or equivalent.
Whatever job he has, it will not be one where he is sitting still! His first job (the one he had now) was a cashier at Tom Thumb. He is great with customers buts HATES being stuck behind the register for long periods of time. He just got moved to grocery which he likes more because he has the freedom to move around to stock shelves. His favorite part time job would be working in the shoe section at Dicks - where he could wear casual clothing and talk shoes!
His car is an old Jeep Cherokee. It doesn’t look like much but he paid for half of it along with his grandfather. He earned his part by selling photo shop artwork on red bubble. Michael has a very entrepreneurial spirit and I believe could be successful in sales one day.
In middle school he sold so many football cards he won a Best Buy gift card and purchased his first XBox on his own.
Michael has one of the loudest voices I have heard - we call it “his God given gift” and we are very curious to see how it will be used! Lastly, crowds don’t bother Michael - he served as an alter boy during mass at our church - St Ann’s in Coppell - and would serve in front of 700-1000 people. Didn’t bother him in the least.
We love him very much and can’t wait to see how all these puzzle pieces come together to form the man he will become!
