Beautiful Lantana Guyer Senior by Photographer Lisa McNiel

What a beauty Taylor is!  (She is a clone of her mom.) I was excited when she contacted me and I found out she was involved in theatre and film and loved musicals and her favorite quote from C. S. Lewis!  I knew I was going to enjoy our session.  When I asked if there was someone I could thank for referring me, she said she found me on Pinterest.  How weird is that?  We live less than five miles from each other.

Toward the end of her senior pictures we got to talking about musicals and I found out that Guyer had done "Les Miserables" this past year, and she had played Eponine! She looks like the perfect Eponine and that is my favorite musical.  She is headed to L.A. to perfect her craft and follow her dream at the LA location of huge oldest active performing arts school in the English speaking world, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  Look for this darling, talented girl in the coming years in a theater near you!

Grapevine Senior Pictures by Photographer Lisa McNiel

Allie Ziober has great taste in SHOES!  Just check out her shoes through this whole post... love the cowboy boots at the end.  She was so happy and giggly, it didn't surprise me at all that she cheers for Grapevine High School.  I can usually spot an athlete by their legs.  It was a hot, sweaty day, but we still had fun running around Denton getting pictures.  Her mom, Cindy, wanted beautiful memories of her baby girl since she will be headed off to Lubbock to become Texas Tech Red Raider in the Fall!

Beautiful Dallas Family by Photographer Lisa McNiel

Heath just finished his residency in Radiology at Parkland and he and Sarah and adorable little Henry are headed to Salt Lake City for a year.  I first met them a year ago when we took family pictures and Heath was only six months old. I was just stupidly excited to see him at 18 months.  The warmth and connection between them all made it easy to capture great moments with minimum direction, and I get such a kick out of the last few pictures.  I swear I meet the coolest people.  I hope they have a wonderful adventure and then come back to good ole' Texas, because I want to keep up with them!
