How to get Good Headshots:
1. Don't wait until the last minute.
99 times out of 100 this is a bad idea.
2. Find a photographer you trust.
They hold that crucial first impression in their hands.
3. Know what characters you can/want to play
Then bring clothes and props that depict that
4. Talk to your photographer about how she shoots.
She should shoot a 2.8 f-stop or lower, and remove blemishes.
5. Talk locations.
Ask about hers, or find your own. Urban is usually good, meaning brick buildings and maybe leafy sidewalks.
6. One... plus two.
Have one general headshot that can be used for everything. Get two more headshots that play more to types you have been cast, or hope to be cast in the future.
