This year Sam was voted Homecoming King, Mr. Marcus (of Marcus High School) and Prom King. People love Sam. They are not scared of him or intimidated by him. He's smart, headed to UT. He is usually smiling and seems to know and like everyone.
In famous studies about Emotional Intelligence, Daniel Goleman said that EQ (emotional intelligence) is more important than straight IQ in determining well-rounded success in life. He said the guy who was friends with everyone in high school will likely have the most productive, happy life. Sam's on his way!
