Red-haired Softball Billy Ryan Senior headed to UT to play Softball by Senior Photographer Lisa McNiel

Jaden Hoelker just graduated from Billy Ryan high school in Denton, Texas. She's headed to play softball at the University of Texas in Austin. She qualified for the difficult application process at UT Austin both as a softball player, but also as valedictorian of her class.

Her favorite songs are:
Praise You in This Storm
God of this City
Jordan Belfort
Fire & Desire

Her favorite feature is her red hair, and her favorite personality trait is how loud and fun she can be. I want to thank Emily Gentry for referring me to her.

In school, she's involved in: Softball, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society,  EHS, NFHS, and the math honor society - Mu Alpha Theta.

In her free time she likes to read or run. Her favorite quote is "You will be exactly as happy as you decide to be," and her favorite memory is a big family gathering at her grandma's house for Thanksgiving two years ago.

We did her Senior Portraits in various places in Denton and used the sun and the orange in her UT shirt to highlight her red hair. These were actually taken hours after pictures were being snapped of her at Signing Day at her high school.

She included softball and glove, her red commencement gown, (but we left out the graduation mortarboard), her Bible, my grandpa's suitcase, and American flag.

In addition to her college T shirt with denim skirt and cowboy boots, she chose a white graduation dress with funky wedges, a black floral boho top with stripes on the sleeves, which was great in the wind.

Remember to plan ahead when deciding to schedule Senior Pictures. I book up quickly and procrastination will be your enemy when trying to book with a busy photographer. Best wishes to the class of 2019 and beyond for a great Senior Year!!!
