Senior Picture Ideas for Ice Hockey by Dallas Photographer Lisa McNiel
Brandon eats, breathes, and lives hockey. And yet he finds time for art and film projects and together with his brother had one of their films make it to a national competition next year! We did the Captain Session for his senior pictures, so we had plenty of time to cover all the different clothes and interests his parents wanted for his senior photos. He got photos with is jersey, truck, hockey stick, in a suit, casual clothes, in a bookstore, and urban, and country settings including an old historic bridge, and a lake at sunset. Scroll for tons of ideas on how to do senior portraits before graduation!

Senior Pictures for Girls in DFW by Flower Mound Photographer Lisa McNiel
Jade loves her friends, her family, horses, making great grades, and the University of Texas in Austin! She's been known to march for women's rights, and fight inequality wherever she finds it. When she was nominated for Homecoming Queen at Marcus High in Flower Mound, Texas, her friends did her makeup and cheered her on to victory! Best of luck in Austin, next year Jade!

Senior Pictures for Marcus High School by Flower Mound Photographer Lisa McNiel
Simon was the MVP for the 2x State Championship Ultimate Frisbee team at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, but that just tells a little part of his story. Simon's older brother Ian Vickers was active in Ultimate so he began as a freshman transfer from a Catholic school. He and his family are strong Catholics and it shows in their quiet consistent service and faithfulness.
I remember thinking Simon just looked cool when throwing the disc, way low down to the ground and hard to block. That combined with his introverted personality made me think he might be too cool for me! But when I asked him to participate in a project of my sons' friends to record letters to their moms about what they'll miss when they leave home for college, he thanked me for doing the project!!!
He's headed to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater in the Fall to study, and (ahem) continue playing Ultimate with 5 of his buddies also becoming Pokes! We included Simon's formal attire, with a three-piece suit and sharp purple tie, his sweet old dog, and his love of nature and Ultimate in his graduation portraits.

Marcus Senior Pictures - Photographer Lisa McNIel
Cooper Buckles, how's that for a name? It sounds cool no matter how you say it, but "Coop" seems to be the most fun. He graduated this past weekend, after weeks of lasts, not the least of which was a walk through his grade school after a graduation breakfast. I first met him when he was a little bitty guy at that school, and his funny mama and I bonded over stories of our boys. No doubt the ceilings seemed much lower to him on this last visit.
Cooper comes from good people, smart, decent, fair people. The oldest of three boys, he keeps an eye on the younger two in typical eldest fashion. He's interested in film and his eyes light up when he talks about movies. He plans to study film editing and eventually directing, but to be sure, whatever this tall, sweet kid does, he'll make his family proud!
